Through the following programmes, Canadian citizens and permanent residents may sponsor family class members who want to immigrate to Canada:

Through this scheme, Canadian citizens and/or permanent residents can sponsor their parents and grandparents to immigrate to Canada as permanent residents.

Under this scheme, a spouse, common-law partner, or marital partner could be sponsored for Canadian permanent residency by a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Orphaned brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and grandkids are other close relatives who may be nominated for immigration to Canada. Any other relative via blood or adoption may be sponsored by Canadians in very particular circumstances.

Parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and/or permanent residents are able to travel to Canada on the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa. A 10-year, multiple-entry visa is known as a super visa.
